Metal Marvels: Intro to Alloy Tubes

Introduction to Alloy Aluminum Tube Pipe

  1. Low Melting Point Advantage

The alloy aluminum tube pipe boasts a low melting point, making it easily malleable. This property allows for efficient melting without excessive heat, facilitating easy molding on a press. Commonly used low melting point alloys, like those produced by Long Fu domestically and internationally, typically melt at around 150 degrees Celsius.

  1. Strength Requirements

For practical use in applications like stamping chess pieces that endure pressure, the aluminum tube pipe requires a certain mechanical strength. A material with adequate strength enhances the tool's longevity. While materials with both low melting points and high strength are limited, any alloy material meeting the stamping process requirements can be effectively utilized. Current low melting point alloy materials for alloy aluminum tube pipes exhibit tensile strength around 5-10 kg/mm, compressive tension of 5-10 kg/mm, and Brinell hardness ranging from HB15-25.
